Kirat Karni

To toil for one’s bread, for goodness, for love for man, for God in the spirit of devotion-this is Kirat or work inspired by the spirit of holiness. Feeling Him in us, about us, to keep our hands, and limbs and mind employed fixedly in laboring for the good, in gathering bread for hungry mouths, proving solace to the sick, clothing the naked, and making the burden of suffering light for humanity by completely losing our individual selfishness-such is Kirat Karni.
